Is it against forum rules to start a thread on flawed Evga 2080ti cards that are causing problems and that need to be RMA. I don’t think there is no where the amount of Evga cards with problems like the NVIDIA FE cards but this may actually help Evga and other people track the flawed cards by batch or serial numbers. If you have a card that has problems or that was RMA post the first 10 of the serial number and if you don’t have any problems post the first 10 of serial number stating no problems. Maybe this is only happing to a certain batches or serial numbers. Also post what card it is like 2080ti xc ultra or 2080ti xc.

You should be asking for the First 10 and not the last 6 of the Serial Number.

The number of RMAs (with full batch and serial numbers) is very well known to EVGA. How could it not? There already is a 2080 ti Reference Board RMA Tracking spreadsheet where everybody can leave his model and serial number and some more details. It does not get traction since it is rather meaningless without the wholesale numbers and the possibility to see the percentage of fails. It IS good for drawing false dichotomies, then posting unsubstantiated comments and getting ripped a new one by logical ones in return though.

Now you know why. But I really do not see the need for this Thread and asking Members for their Serial Numbers in the first place. I think you missed that part. If they post, they are consenting but it would be nice to see how many claims are out there as I've seen quite a few complaints around here.

I will not be posting my serial numbers. However I am happy to say that I have had three RTX 2080 Ti cards. Experience as follow: 1) EVGA RTX 2080 Ti XC Gaming - failure to work on arrival. Artifacts, frequent black screens. Totally kaput. EVGA in Europe tell me that it was the first card to be RMAed. 2) Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti OC Gaming - arrived and worked fine. 3) Replacement RTX 2080 Ti XC Gaming - worked fine. Still works fine, but lousy overclocker compared to the Gigabyte. Basically I had pretty poor luck. But my system works fine now and I am gaming and doing general workloads on a 5k, 60 Hz monitor very happily. This is the first GPU I've had that can drive my 5k monitor at consistent >60 fps in games. So from that point of view, I am a very happy camper. I am thinking about getting the extended warranty with all this talk of card failures however.

Yeah it's called you're doing that right now with your over the top dramatic post and private messages harassing me to remove a comment because you were wrong. The problem is you think you're never wrong and if you are, you'd like the comments removed immediately. Time to put your big boy pants and move on and don't harass any mods which I can completely see happening to remove these comments you don't agree with. Just move on and stop commenting here if you don't like the OP's thread. I never personally attacked you in anyway, etc. Carry on....

Posting serial numbers would be in conflict with our forum Terms of Use and this thread has been locked. I understand the good intentions of this thread, but partial serial numbers really wouldn't be helpful and full serial numbers the moderators would have to spend all day cleaning up. If anyone is experiencing issues with their graphics card or another product, please contact our customer support team at 1-888-881-3842 or e-mail support@evga.com. We do internally keep track of all issues and contacting our support team directly would actually be more helpful than simply posting a serial number. Thank you all for understanding.
