hello there since I got my card I got many issues 1- COD black ops 4 crashes in lobby 2- battlefield V crashes mid game 3- now league of legends with artifacts I blamed the first titled on the drivers since they are considered as new games but LOL come on , I think I got faulty GPU . I got this video for one screen the other one I couldn't show you cuz of my PC restarted. youtube.com/watch?v=fjL21pUX0cY&feature=youtu.be

Do you have all the drivers up to date, including Nvidia's?

Is everything running at stock and what are your temps when putting load on the GPU if you're able to do so? You also shouldn't revert to older drivers since these newer drivers are specifically for the RTX GPUs. Going back could only exacerbate the issue.

Have you applied any overclock? If so reset to default with Precision X1. I would personally try uninstalling with DDU with GPU not physically installed then try a fresh install of latest drivers. If still no luck I’d contact EVGA support.

Remove the second monitor and try to use just one.

I don't think it's due to the 2 displays if it's due the display why just in games ? it should in desktop too and videos .

If drivers are correctly installed then RMA the card. I think you received a defective one.

it can be a defective card only. For now FTW3 main problem is RAM temp for the banks above and at the right of the chip that could be mitigated by applying thermal pads above the front plate in the memory areas so that they can be attached to the heatsink.

Sounds/looks like the card is defective. If you can reproduce the issue in another known good working computer then you'll know for sure that the issue is the card itself.

Hi guys, First time posting. I don't know where to start so i quickly search "artifacts" and this is where it got me. My questions. I have had purchased my 2080ti ftw3 for sometime now. I don't remember when I started to experience random, very quick, artifacting. I don't know if what I experienced is artifacting but it's like a big random chunk of the screen goes black and you know that part isn't supposed to be black and it only lasts like .01 second. It is very quick but I do catch a glimpse of it. I am a computer newb and I built this computer myself and recently purchased an ultrawide monitor. I don't know if it is just my imagination or is my hardware faulty. I mean I did spent over $1700 for this graphic card and I would love to take care of it. 1 thing I noticed awhile ago is that my memory runs very hot. If my main gpu says it's at somewhere around 65-70c a few of the top memories sometime go to temps like 84c. I don't have pics or anything but I would like to get some help so I can stop doubting myself and get to the bottom of this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all.

Can't tell if it's artifacting or it's glitching if you're playing a game title so with that said, when does this occur for you and is it only in a particular gaming enviroment or on your desktop, web browsing, etc.?

it only happens when I game for a long period of time. Browsing, watching video, regular use on the computer I haven't run into this problem. However, it's funny how I game on Monster hunter world for hours and I don't encounter this but if I get on Destiny 2 and game for about 2-3 hours I would run into this problem. It doesn't happen often, but once the first hiccup shows up, the next one would randomly occur or not occur at all. and yes I have the most updated driver I believe there was an update just couple days ago and I installed that.

I would run scan/repair on the game this issue happens on if possible to weed out any bad files and run a update if it needs any updating.

and is it normal for the memory temperature to run sometime 10 degrees higher then the gpu temp? you know the screen in precision x1 where it tells you all the temperatures for all the parts. The memory directly above the dye when I game is always quite hotter then the actual temp showing on the big dye. Is this normal?

It depends but I've seen it go as high as 30c difference so yes, it's normal that certain memory banks will run warmer than the GPU itself, mainly those that are closer to the VRM section.
