OC Robot is pretty handy even though it does just tend to throw voltage at the CPU. 9900k wants 1.36v for 5ghz and 1.4v for 5.2ghz.

A feature that would be great is being able to select the stepping you want to use. For example, OC Robot runs the test starting from base clock all the way up to 5.2ghz. I'd like to choose 5ghz rather than all the way to 5.2ghz but the only option is to apply the maximum OC it found.

You could let OC robot do the initial test, record the settings manually, and then adjust to find your overclock yourself as well. It doesn’t take long to adjust most settings.

Absolutely, and that is what I ended up doing. That just kind of defeats the purpose of the whole Robot thing. Still a great tool but not as automated as one would think.
