My understanding from the forums is ff I switch on the slave bios, the GPU fan will always run. The other 2 fans will only run when Precision XOC is running. When Precision XOC is running, will the slave bios still use a custom defined fan curve ?

    Yes

The base speed is higher by default with the "slave BIOS"

By default - the section of the Card that controls the fan must reach a predetermined temp about 55 - 60 C before the fan will spin-up "for that section"

3 fans have 3 different areas GPU, Memory & Power --- each section is independent without XOC or other software
