I recently assembled my first build which includes an EVGA 850 PSU and EVGA 1070 hybrid. Which power cable setup should be used to power the GPU?
The GPU has two 8 pin connectors.

Included with the GPU:
(2x) 8 pin to dual 6 pin connector

Included with the PSU:
8 pin to (1x) 6+2 pin
8 pin to (2x) 6+2 pin (daisy chain to two 6+2 pin like a sata cable)

Currently, two PSU cables (8 pin to (2x) 6+2 pin) are connected to two GPU cables (8 pin to dual 6 pin). This seems to be working but the cables look like a nest and I'm not convinced this is necessary. If two PSU cables (8 pin to (1x) 6+2 pin) are connected directly to the GPU will this create problems or am I currently including more connections than are necessary?

The single 8 pin to (2x) 6+2 pin cable is rated for the load or it wouldn't come with the PSU..Just use that one.
