I am starting a new build and would like to add some RGB fans. Pretty much all of the fans I have seen come with their own controller and claim you MUST use their controller with their fans. Does the DG-76 with DG-Tuner support ANY 4-pin RGB fan, or is there something I need to look for?

I finally got all the parts in last night and completed the build. Tried some Corsair LL120 fans I picked up at Best Buy, but the RGB connector seems to be the wrong type - it immediately slipped off. From what I can tell based on the attached EVGA RGB logos, these require a fat connector with an arrow on them, not a PWM-style flat connector (I'll post pictures later tonight). Still have no idea what this means for trying to buy them online.

What type of connector is compatable with the RGB header? I can't find that info anywhere, either...

So, the Deepcool fans have really short leads and use a PWM hub and an RGB extension/splitter. I was originally against this type of setup, but after actually doing the build, this works better.
 
The motherboard only has 3 PWM connectors with SMART control (2 CPU, 1 CHA); the rest are max RPM all the time. This means only one or two of the exhaust fans would have variable speeds, which sucks when you have 3 fans you want to control that way. With the PWM hub, I can run all 3 exhaust fans at variable speed off one SMART connector. And having an RGB splitter works for me since I'm not doing anything really fancy with the lighting.
 
The only problem I have with the build is the Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM. To be more specific, the problem is that the EVGA software needs to start before the Corsair iCUE software, and Windows UAC throws a warning for every bit of the EVGA software. Even if you hit all the UAC warnings in time, it's hit or miss if the iCUE software will step on the EVGA LED Sync before the fans pick up the sequence. I have tried setting the CorsairService to Automatic (Delayed) startup, but eventually had to drop Windows UAC to Never Notify. Even then, the Corsair iCUE software is not controlling the RGB elements properly. I'm probably going to replace the RAM with non-RGB sticks, which makes me a little sad.
 
Edit: I disabled EVGA LED Sync on accident, and Corsair iCUE started working. So now I've got DG-Tuner, Precision XOC, Flow Control, and E-LEET set up with their own profiles that let me play with the RAM colors. I am happy again.
