Hey all.

Just got my new build running and a buddy said I was light on the power supply. What do you think?

I would go no less than a 750 Gold and recommend an 850 for a Single FTW3 GTX or RTX Graphics Card.
Though I have only pushed my Single GTX FTW3 Card to 640 Watts, this include the Computer with the Monitor Off.
    670-675 Watts with Monitor On.

People tend to over-estimate PSU wattage requirement, many times grossly.

Use the OuterVision PSU Calculator to estimate your total system wattage requirement and to see a recommended PSU for your box.

You can also use the EVGA Power Meter, where you'll get a one-shot 10% discount code (with conditions) on EVGA PSUs in your email just for using it.

The OuterVion PSU Calculator is more accurate..Roll with that.

A 650-Watt unit should be more than fine.

    Another good read https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2878082
"One PCIe Power Cable" you should use Two PCIe Power Cable on your FTW3 Graphics Card.

Thanks all. I had the vcore too high and things seem a little happier now.

Yeah I figured with these nice new psu's and evgas own calculator I'd be good with the 650.

Very interested in that cable post, thanks :)

Ok so if I leave the gpu voltage alone it'll loop benches no prob. Up the voltage at all and it crashes anytime a graphics test begins.
