If I'm running GPU Grid and WCG, do they run simultaneously since one is a GPU project and the other is a CPU project, or does Boinc switch between them periodically?

Yes they do, I will run WCG on the CPU and Fold on the GPU. I do this 7/24 on my main Folding Rig. Very Hard Tasks to get that is for sure, but they are nice to run. As long as your keep the GPU Running ONLY GPUGRID you can change out different CPU Projects. To note you need your Cache Set to 1 Day 1 Day. This way you should get one Tasks Running and One in the Cue, I turn off all other Projects to get GPU GPUGRID Tasks then after they are downloaded I set my cache back to 0 Day 0 Day.

Are those the lines that go "store at least" and "store up to an additional"?

Got a warning from the server that said it needed several GB of disk space to run long tasks. If the tasks are GB in size I won't be able to download them anyway.

How big was the download? I've got plenty of disk space, my lousy internet connection is the issue Edit... found the answer over on the GPUgrid forum... about 75MB. That's doable.

It's downloading a bunch of stuff now. I assume the application. The largest is 139MB.

Just changed the account name to match my user name here. Looks like I'm already attached to the team, although I didn't see a place for it when I created the account.

I use the below setting in my app_config.xml, not saying you have to as well just for info. <app_config> <app> <name>acemdshort</name> <gpu_versions> <gpu_usage>1.0</gpu_usage> <cpu_usage>0.2</cpu_usage> </gpu_versions> </app> <app> <name>acemdlong</name> <gpu_versions> <gpu_usage>1.0</gpu_usage> <cpu_usage>0.2</cpu_usage> </gpu_versions> </app> </app_config>

GPUGrid has had notoriously slow servers, as long as I’ve been doing them.

This is so true, and they have some GPU Tasks ATM I am hoping that GPUGRID Supports the RTX Card by years end of 2018.
