Hello dear forum,

First of all, I apoligize for my bad english :D

Yesterday I finally finished my new system with
-i5 8400, Evga z370 FTW, Evga Super Nova G3 550W, Evga CLC 240, Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti and Predator HyperX DIMM 16 GB DDR4-3000.

After flashing the bios the pc did not work anymore.

Blacksreen, only one Fan of the water cooler is working. The motherboard is red blinking (30/53/FF) and the fans of my GPU is also Not working.

Keyboard and mouse are connected, but also not working.

I tried many solutions I have read in other Forums, pushing the cmos button, taking the battery out of the mainboard, pushing and pulling back the lever for bios 1 and bios 2 and nothing rly worked.

Replacing the gpu, my RAM, trying to boot without battery, checked the cables on the motherboard and still no success.

Today I am going to check my old setup which includes b350 tomahawk, ryzen 1600.

The reason I switched my set up is cause of my 144hz monitor. Dumb reason I know but I am experimental and that leads me to this Situation.

Btw, my monitor is working!

I hope someone can help, I appreciate any advice!

Best regards Oliver

Change to the other Bios and see if you can enter back into the Bios.
Once in the Bios change the Bios switch back to the Bad one and re-flash the Bios.
You will need a USB Flash Drive and it needs to be Formatted as Fat32
    FF
This happens when you Flash a Bios with overclock settings and why you need to set the Bios Back to the Defaults Before you update.

Updating the Bios in general will not cause a Black Screen.
The FF Code is what I would be bothered about. (OC to High on mine causes FF as well and I have Power Down to recover)
    What CPU do you have?
You can connected to the On Board GPU as well to enter into the Bios.
I fact when I setup and installed the OS on my Z370 FTW Motherboard I did not install my Graphics Card until After the Bios was updated and set Clean (No OC) and Installed the OS with all updates and then I installed my Graphics Card.
Why mostly because I did not want Windows to install their crappy Graphics Drives and the lack of.
So I disconnected my network install my Graphics Card & Driver and all is Sweet now. View System

Hmm, well thank you for help, I really appreciate it!

I will try things out, but one more question

Do you think that sth else like wrong placement of cables could lead to an error like this one?

I doubt it since all you did was update the bios.

You are welcome to contact EVGA technical support if you wish, but per Sajin's suggestion I believe you need to return the board for repair/replacement.

    I could finally fix it!
But I have one more question!

If I want to upgrade my ddr4 RAM, what do I have to take care off?

    I have 2 8Gb Predator with 3000mhz from kingston.

You should Never Mix Memory so you should remove all the older Memory.
