Anybody use this disaster? I was having weird issues while playing the latest Assassin's Creed and noticed my CPU was being hogged by it. At times 50% of the CPU was being used by lighting software! The second I close it zero issues. While not gaming it takes up 8% which is abnormally high still. Went to the Asus forum and plenty of people complaining about the same issue with it hogging CPU resources. So just looking for any tips or advice on what to do. Still cannot believe a LED lighting program is taking up more than 1% of any resources at any time.

    The lightingservices.exe isn't running at 6 - 20% CPU?

Thinking about uninstalling the software and just having it run default since that is what I think looks best anyway. Looked at the beta thread and it appears the CPU performance hasn't changed which is the big issue with the software. Putting the software on static it uses 0% CPU and that should be the case for all of the lighting effects but isn't for some reason.

Didn't had issue for now but I'm very careful with new versions and never installed until comments show up and other people test him.
And off course no Beta version.
Biggest idiotism in IT industry I could remember, RGB lights.
I keep them in Red color on mobo and gpu, sometimes change on green and after 5 days I back on red, etc...
I have no confidence at all that such LEDs could last 5 years to change colors 24/7/365 every second and shine like Christmas three.

LightingService.exe is 0% to 1% (0.5% to 0.6% average) CPU usage in Win10 and 0% to 2% in Win7 no matter what lighting scheme used here.

If you haven't, you might want to try running that Aura Cleaner Tool after uninstalling Aura and then shutdown/start your PC again and install Aura all over again and see how it rolls.

If Aura Cleaner is like AI Suite Cleaner (assuming it is), it stops/removes the leftover Services after you uninstall the program.
