Recently, I purchased the case DG-75 WHITE. After I opened the box to see the case, my first impression is this case is garbage. What are the 2 main reasons to purchase a case? Dust prevention and Noise cancellation, third may be the looking. I can’t believe how dumb your engineer design team can design a crap like this. I thought EVGA is a reputable brand, how can you let this poorly designed case flow into the market and destroys the reputation?
1.            I see there are few filters on it, but on the top of the case, the holes you can see through. And on the side, the temper glass side cover attach to the main body, there is about 4 mm gap to the body. These gap and holes is making the motherboard, cpu fan and video card exposed to dust ! REGARDLESS how many filters you have installed.
2.            If there are so many gaps, how can the noise be isolated ?!
3.            1/3 of the space in the base is empty, WHY THERE IS NO DVD-ROM bay to insert? I get it, you are assuming people don’t use DVD-ROM? What if I want to watch some DVDs on my PC? I have to get an external drive? so much space is wasted.
4.            As I said, 1/3 of the space is empty, not enough place for hard drive bay? Only two 3.5 and two 2.5 REALLY? I have more hard drives than that.
I would definitely return this case if there wasn’t a 10% re-stocking fee from the store I purchased ( CANADA COMPUTERS ).
Your designing case team, they all should be FIRED. No brains at all.
I'm assuming this is all DG series. I will never buy any case from EVGA, regardless of the price.

If you don't like the case, request to talk to a supervisor from the place you purchased it. See if they will make an exception on the restocking fee to keep your business. If they say no, you decide if still want to keep it. If you do send it back, buy from a different retailer due to them sticking you with a restocking fee.

One excuse i would think about using is the product page on the mfg website doesn't give you enough information. It says "supports radiators up to 360mm", what it doesn't tell you is that it only supports 360mm at the front of the case. You can't fit 280mm Radiator at the top of the case, due to no off-set holes to prevent the radiator fans from hitting the motherboard.

I agree with all the wasted space in mid/full size cases these days. I wish case mfg would give people the option to add internal optical drive to put the wasted space to good use.

Issues i have noticed with DG-7* series case.
    • Can't mount a 280/360mm Radiator up top due to no off-set mounting holes
    • Front panel restricting air flow (2018 is the year of restricting air-flow )
    • Painted tempered glass side panel (WHY?)
    • RGB logo on the front panel you can't see (White version)
    • Way too much branding
    • Saddest excuse for a PSU dust filter (zero product images of it)
    • No wire grommets
    • No top dust filter

Just think, the majority of the compromises with the DG-7* case could of been avoided, just by doing some simple market research or by asking the community on here for suggestions/feedback.

WITH THIS GAP, THE DUST FILTER BECOME USELESS....
ALSO TOO MANY HOLES ON TOP COVER, DUST GET IN FROM THERE TOO !
    AND NO NOISE CANCELLATION.
EVGATech_JoseR , THE DESIGNING TEAM OF THIS SHOULD BE FIRED !
OR HOW YOU GONNA FIX THIS ISSUE?

I have noticed the same gap on a few Corsair cases that have tempered glass. One reviewer was able to slide a ruler between the glass and the case.

That's what I like with Lian Li, his finish is amazing,
but PC-O11 WXC because people complain on similar thing with Air and Dynamic.
Edges are so flat, glass fit so nicely, you really see why he cost 220$, it's not only material and that's it.

It's hard to find reviewers who will point out that design compromise. If air can be pulled in from that gap, it will allow more dust into case, if air being pushed out it, that section of the case is going to get dirty.
