Just seems it to me is all, but maybe it is all due the not having that splash screen anymore.

Finally they fix that! Still staying with the 1.09 after reading the PINKTULIP post about temps. Thanks guys!

1.09 is more stable and giving me more score in a Benchmark with same setting.

Hopefully newer Bios will adjust the temp and give option for lower minimum voltage instead of 2.0 V

Easy to confirm that 1.09 is better for overclocking and temp? I can't pull anything extra than 4.7 on my 7820x on the 1.09 or 1.12, 5 degree lower temps on 1.09.

I went to 1.12 hoping to push 4.8-4.9. My cooling is controls the 5 degrees no issues.

Have you tried the 1.14, even though they said it was more towards the refresh CPU's?

Every CPU within same kind or category act or react different when come to Overclock!!! Some go higher with low voltage vice versa.

I am running it, seems stable with my 4.8 OC on my 7940x. Have not bothered with checking temps
Memory is on XPM settings, 3733 memory bumped to 4000mhz

Thanks man, I got the voltage down to 1.265 from 1.3 and ram voltage back to 1.35 stable all the way around, I feel like there should be moaaarrrrr lol. I can get it stable at 4.9 with 1.35vcore, temps under 87c during load, but no performance gain. I don't know enough to trouble shoot whats ghosting it. All I do is game on this, may go to a 9900k and call it day to stay around 5Ghz.

From my experiance it depends on the cpu, I use 1.06 together with a 7940x and 7980XE and 1.08 or 1.09 with my 7920x. The 7920x scores terrible on any other bios and the 7940x works just as good with any but it runs hot af with 1.12 and 1.14.. same with the 7980XE but that cpu spits out some inconsistent numbers with 1.09 or higher. 1.08 and down runs way cooler with 79xx cpus keep that in mind, 1.09 is fine as well but for me it bumps the temp with around 5c.

GPU : Asus RTX 2080 Ti Strix OC 2130MHz 1.081v  MB : EVGA Z390 DARK CPU : 9900KS R0 5.2GHz/4.8GHz Ring 1.34v AVX 0 Offset RAM : Team Group Xtreem T-Force 8PACK 4300MHz CL17 1.5v PSU : EVGA T2 1000w Chassi : 800D SSD/HDD : Samsung 970 EVO 250GB M.2 Bootdrive 3 SSD's (2TB all in all) and one 2TB HDD

I have observed same identical Temp with 1.08/1.09 but anything higher than that Temp jump 5C or higher!!!!
