Weird problem with cloud storage - internet disconnection

When we use cloud storage to upload a lot of data (50 GB to 100 GB+) our internet goes out after 12 to 24 hours.

It just dies.

What could be the issue ? Thanks.
 
We have to restart the router and cable modem to get our internet back.

    I haven't heard of anything like this beyond possible data limitations. Possibly an issue with the router/modem? I'd reach out to your ISP to see if they have heard of similar complaints.
