    When you register a unit, you would register it with the date that the purchase was made.
    If this date, due to a pre-order delay, ends up causing issues for Step-Up or any other program that EVGA offers, just contact support and we can change the purchase date to reflect that shipping date.

    Well that is a bummer so some can end up with only 11 or even 10 months of a Year Warranty.

    Any pre-order where the order and the ship out are more than a couple of weeks, just get proof of purchase and the date that it shipped and EVGA Support will work with you.

    For a second-hand buyer who purchases from a customer who pre-ordered, it sounds like they will likely be short-changed by a month or two due to lack of information to the contrary.

    For a second-hand buyer who purchases from a customer who pre-ordered, it sounds like they will likely be short-changed by a month or two due to lack of information to the contrary.

    The ship date from the EVGA facility is the early cutoff for any warranty. Usually if a tech notices that a ship date is after the customer's listed purchase date, they will change the purchase date to the ship date without a second thought.

    Did the retailer charge you the full price when you placed the pre-order or did they wait closer to the shipped date to do it.
