Evga sc black 1080ti to a Evga 2080 XC Black Edition?
It will cost me $12 total.  Do you think I should bother or not?  Opinions?

For $12., I'd say yes.  Performance is about equal, but you'd have the new gen tech...

You'll send in your old card when your new one is ready.

Go read the Step-up terms and services under the "services" tab.

For that price difference, I would do it for sure.

I am in same situation. I have 10 days left to start step-up, but only available card is 2080 and not even Ultra. :(
    I have 1080Ti FTW3. Probably same speed :(

    Yeah.
    Black edition -
    • 1740MHz Boost Clock
    FE edition
    • 1800 MHz Boost Clock

Still cannot find good comparison between 1080Ti FTW3 and 2080 Black edition.
Could be slower results comparing to 1080Ti, thats what I do not want. Ray tracing? Probably will be bad on this card. I am playing in 4K and I do not need AA and actually never turn it on. So second "new cool" feature I do not need.
    So I am stuck. :(
Interesting to have a new card it will costs me nothing , but not with speed sacrificing. Why EVGA did not include 2080 Ti in stepup program, I do not understand. Or at least FTW version of 2080 :(
