So, this happened a months ago (dont remember exacly when), i was playing normal, and bum, black screen, pc restarts, everything is normal then again, it started doing it frecuently after 2 or 3 restarts, at this point the pc wont go into windows, soo, i decided to try another gpu (a gtx 950) and it works perfectly, soo i thought that the 1050 Ti was dead at this point, after a while i was using the 950 and again, playing the pc dies, and wont show any video. took it to my local pc store to see what's up. They said the mobo was dead, in my head i said, this might be why my gpu was having problems, so now i got a new mobo (specs at the end) and i put everything back together with the 1050 Ti on, and is doing the same thing, black screens and solid colors, sometimes it would let me go in windows for like 30 seconds on safe mode (that i activated with the mobo integrated gpu) but that's about it. I tried the 950 and it works fine, i have been looking on forums for this problems and non of them seem to work. some ppl say that it looks like overclock damage, but i overclocked it once, then put it back to stock and everything was fine. any help? :/

Sounds like you need to replace your psu with a higher quality unit.

Because the pc died and restarted with both gpus. Is the 950 still working fine? If yes, then your psu may not be the issue after all, but I'd still recommend buying a higher quality psu for your rig.

Well I mean first of all, why'd you upgrade from a 950 to a 1050 ti? its like a 20fps difference... well anyways, its not your psu's fault because the 1050 ti uses less power.. and it could be the ports on the gpu.. have you tried plugging your monitor into the motherboard? maybe you need a bios update?

Try to use your 950, then uninstall all your drivers or if you have another harddrive try that.. and then use your 1050 ti, it might be the drivers messing it up since you prob have your old 950 drivers?? maybe that will work
