Hi,

I am experiencing an issue with my 1080 Ti SC GPU.  It is installed on an ASUS WS X299 motherboard with three other GPUs.  The mobo BIOS have been updated to the latest revision (v 0601).  We are running ubuntu 18.04.

For some reason, the machine recognizes the cards in PCIe slots 1, 5, 7, but not the card in slot 3.  We verified on a separate machine that the card being used works.  They are all EVGA 1080 Ti SC Black edition cards.

Anyone have suggestions?  We are stumped...

Sounds like the pci-e slot has a problem. What happens when you take all the cards out of the system and test only the 3rd slot by itself?
