I remember the Sapphire Vega 64 Nitro had a weight support brace in the package because these were massive and heavy cards.
Since the FTW3 Ultra cards seem to be really heavy as well, I was wondering if we'll find such a weight support in the package. I'm afraid of my PCI-E slots you know!

I'm using the Thermaltake P9 case by the way, which is mounted on the wall of my room over my monitor... I hope the case won't come crashing on my monitor... the PCI-E will be the last of my worries then.

No. There's another thread about this already. It'll be supported fine by the PCIe ports and the case brackets.

It already has one but I'm still a bit worried. In any case if the dimensions I found for 1080ti FTW3 here: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=11G-P4-6694-KR  and for 2080ti FTW3 here: https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=11G-P4-2487-KR are both correct, then I expect the 2080ti to have similar weight with the 1080ti I'm currently using.

And sorry for the double thread, I searched for the words "weight" and "brace" but didn't think of the word "support".
We can then close this thread.

Locking this thread since it is a duplicate of another thread with the answer in it.
