Is there a special bracket I need to get from EVGA to make it work?

    Yes this should work with the CLC 280 coolers the bracket should be included in the thread ripper box itself we do not have that bracket. You can use these link for added information if you do have any other questions you can give a call to EVGA Customer Support Line 1 (888) 880-3842.
