This started happening about a month ago.  I have tried uninstalling using revouninstaller, clean registry, reinstalling, different versions, etc.  I just stopped using it, but would like to get it resolved.  Other alternatives like MSI AB will not control the fan on my 1080 ti Hybrid.  Anyone else had this issue?  What was the fix?

DDU is my go to for a clean uninstall

Then I custom install Only the GPU driver & PhysX

Is it that high after a clean reboot ?

What are / where you doing when it was that high ?

Is auto update turned on ?

    DDU to uninstall Precision X?

This will happen when computer is at idle. I’ll wake up in the morning and find it this way.

I’m away from my machine, but it is the most current version of PXOC.

Disabling the osd should resolve the issue.

That sucks. The OSD is one of the only things I like about it.

What is the best way to do this.  Toggling off in the GUI does not effect the EVGA PrecisionX Server CPU usage.

Odd, toggling off should have stopped it. Exit xoc then go to the main directory, and rename PrecisionXServer.exe to something else. Start xoc and your problem should be fixed.

Thanks.  I will give it a shot.

Just wanted to say I am having a similar problem with PrecisionX Server but in my case the issue is that the Server starts over 1000 instances of itself and causes Conan Exiles to CTD intermittently. I have never used the OSD, and never tried toggling it on or off until I started having this problem. Toggling it does nothing at all. I have tried everything the OP has tried and more. I'm glad to see that the post mentioning renaming the server .exe to something else can solve the issue as I don't want to stop using PrecisionX OC as I use it to see what my video card is doing in certain situations and to set up a custom fan profile. From reading about this issue it seems to have been happening for several years on and off and it keeps supposedly being fixed but apparently the problem just switches to happening in a different way with the PrecisionX Server.

I am also curious on my system why it shows it running a 32bit version of the PrecisionX Server along with the main one, I am on a 64 bit system with 64 bit OS so I don't know why it would be wanting to run a 32bit version of it.
