SC17 1070 Ram XMP Profile not setting

Hey just wondering if anyone else with the SC17 1070 when you go to bios and set the memory profile to one the two xmp profiles it just goes to manual instead. This is the problem im having and was wondering if this happens to anyone else and if there is a fix. Ive set the timing and frequency to the correct value by looking up the ram stick but want to use the xmp profile because Ive read thats the best option for your ram. Thanks

    Setting up your ram manually is the best option imo. XMP is just to get you up and running quickly.

    I agree. I always set up my Ram manually. Sometimes what the default it gets, is sometimes not the default it's supposed to have, for example.

    XMP profile doesn't work on my SC17 1080 either, but I do have my ram running at 3000MHz (16-16-16-36 CR1) manually.  Unfortunately the BIOS does not allow to increase voltage, otherwise it would run at 3200MHz no issues. I mean it does run at those speeds but I need to relax the timings too much and I opted for 3000MHz CL16 instead.
