Now that I have my steam box set up in the living room, I've decided that a wireless headset would not be a bad idea for those times that I need to be quiet or am gaming online. Wired would be better, but I don't want a bunch of cables running across the floor to the PC.
I've looked at some wired HyperX cans for upstairs and I know that they make a wireless set as well, so I'll check them out a bit more thuroughly.
So tell me what you have and why you like them.

Motherboard is bluetooth capable, so that would be a viable option.

I'd give a look at Crutchfield for advice and some nice headsets, see what your budget might buy I got a great deal on my last tuner from them, beat Amazon, Newegg ......

I've got Corsair wireless headsets but don't know if they would work on a Steam box.

To clarify, it's just a straight up PC thats mainly dedicated to running Steam. So anything that works on PC will work.

With Microphone: Yes Budget: 300.00 max Prefer over ear. This is what I've looked at so far. HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless - Leaning towards these the most so far. Plantronics RIG 800HS Logitech G933Corsair Void Pro
Due to my bias/dislike of Razer I tend to overlook them. For pure music enjoyment, I have a pair of wired AudioTechnica's that I really like. The above headsets would be pretty much used for gaming only.

I have a Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 450. Its 7.1. Its surround sound works nicely.

I would go with HyerX Cloud Flight, over the other wireless headsets listed.

+1 Corsair would be my choice. They are the only headsets I use anymore.
