These FPS demos are always disappointing because the people playing them are bad and they can't die. The Doom reboot looked pretty bad with the marketing videos, but once you crank up the difficulty and can aim it's pretty good. I feel the same about this. Some of the level art was cool and new enemies are nice, but they don't need to spoil everything new.

I think Doom Eternal will come out next year on September 13th, or December 13th. Those are the only nearest dates in the future when 13th falls on a Friday.

I went out this weekend to pick up DOOM (2016) at a local Best Buy thinking that I'd be able to install it using my BD drive, but the package only included one CD that simply redirects you to download the game from the Steam app. . .D'oh! They'll probably do the same for the DOOM ETERNAL release. This really sucks! I miss the days where I could use my optical drive for loading software. It took me 8 long hours to download and install DOOM (2016). QQ

Doom Eternal looks mega fun rofl   But I really hope Vulkan API will be supported, as it was with DOOM 2016. Vulkan has Limitless SMP support Hence being limitless it won't matter how many cores or threads your system has each and every core & thread will be used to their max efficiency. The more cores & threads thus the better, DX12 lacks this. Vulkan also has great Multi OS support as where DX12 limits you to Win10 only, I am pretty sure Linux & mC users also want to enjoy these new titles and Win 7 & 8.1 users alike. Overall Vulkan should be the standard API over everything else as it replaces every other API making them look obsolete. And that is one of the main reasons why I bought DOOM 2016, it was not only the great single player gameplay, but mainly Vulkan API support, I wanted to see how well Vulkna scaled with my 24 cores when using an AMD R9 290X and later an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 and now a Sapphire RX Vega 64, that is so nice about Vulkan API, it realy does not matter what Multi CPU + GPU setup you have, it all works evenly. Wolfenstein II has Vulkan, as does Star Citizen & Alien Isolation. So yeah I really look forward to this new DOOM game, yet I do hope a good single player campaign will be made, I wanna play it for like weeks over a few hours, I played DOOM 2016 for hours and did lots of replays, just hope they get the multiplayer right this time, that wasn't so great with DOOM 2016.

I feel like this is some kinda weird mixup of doom, avp, and just cause. Doesn't look like doom to me.
