Hello, my laptop is stuck on "stop on progress" with the whelle spinning.
I've tried holding the power button down but it's not working.

Is there a way to force shutdown the laptop ?

Thanks

(sorry for my english)

Welcome to the EVGA Forums Ritz33

How long has the Windows update been going on?

If it is a Windows OS update and you shut the laptop off you will have to recover the OS - may have issues on boot

You might have a sealed laptop - then you cannot remove the battery

I think there may be a reset button - through a very small hole - Contact EVGA Technical Support

Hello Ritz33,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your laptop. You can clear the CMOS and it should restart the system. Clear CMOS is located on the underside of the laptop. There should be a pinhole that you can insert a paperclip or pick into. If you're unable to do so, we can walk you through via our Customer Support Line 1 (888) 881-3842.

Regards,
Thomas N.
