I have 8X 16GB DDR4 corsair 3800MHZ ram and the bios (and my OS) says I just have 64 gig installed. I double check the RAM with another system and it shows 128GB. The BIOS page shows only 4 RAM sticks installed but I have installed 8. Am I missing any settings?? I tried to increase the DIMM voltage to 1.6 but still no lock.

why is the voltage so high? That kit should run at 3800 with 1.35ish voltage Edit: I just saw the last line in your post - Does that board have LED's t the ends of the ram slots? and are the non functioning ones red?

Is there any other settings in bios I should change for the board to pickup all 8 DIMM slots ?

What CPU are you using? Just looked at the FTW3 PDF - no memory slot LED's like the X299 Dark, sorry to get your hopes up for that

With your low post count you cannot yet post links, put a space in the http:// whatever.com to be able to post a link Can you link to the exact memory kit(s) you are using - and exactly what cpu are you using

You must use a skylake-x processor for 128GB's. Kaby lake-x processor only support up to 64GB. Sounds like you have some defective dimm slots if you're already running a skylake-x processor. I would also check the dimm slots/cpu socket for messed up pins.

Have you tried each stick separately to make sure they're all working correctly? Also whilst checking each RAM slot to find out which are defective (if so)? If you've verified your RAM is all OK, it's time to RMA your board unfortunately.

Do as a few guys here already mentioned 1) Test each stick individually 2) Test each slot individually and then after you have confirmed all working, try to add more and more and see what it does 3) Do a visual checkup for bent pins in the CPU socket, this can cause major issues

had a similar issue with same board make sure RAM is populated in the slots according to your CPU. check the manual also to the "left" of CPU is slot 1, 2, 3, 4 in that order but to the "right" is slot 8, 7, 6, 5 that's what threw me off as my CPU requires slots 1,3,5,7 to be populated first but had the ones on the right side in 8 and 6

I guess first things first: Does it recognize all sticks when your CPU and memory are at default auto settings, not oc + xmp?

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for posting about the slot numbers for the right side. I looked and looked and didn't see any slot numbers on the board and I did know they needed to be in 1,3,5,7 but never would have imagined that that the right side was not in ascending order like the left side! I knew when I initially installed two DIMMS years ago that it was in slots 1 and 3, so I assumed the right side went 5,6,7,8 and so had the two new DIMMS in the exact wrong slots, since as you said, the right slots go 8,7,6,5. The system wasn't picking up the new RAM, and putting them in the correct slots fixed it. I quickly Googled to see what came up and this post came up with your answer. I would have eventually looked at the manual to double check the slots if I didn't find anything, but you saved me the time. Thank you! Edit: My signature is my OLD system. Need to update that! lol Edit2: My signature has been updated and is showing my current system in this post now.
