It's been a month since I last used this computer, I have tried many passwords that have not been accepted, so i'm still locked out of my computer,I just want to know, can I still access my computer? how to do ?

I'm sorry rjohnson but that's not true. Windows passwords are pure smoke and mirrors and easily bypassed when you have access to the file system. Local accounts are easy to get back into. Microsoft accounts rely on using the same password you log into online. You can always do the forget password process to reset it. In the shop, I use iSee Password Recovery (bootable). The new Advanced version looks like it also is able to reset the Microsoft password too, believe it or not. https://www.iseepassword....recovery.html#4version

The sticky keys backdoor can help you break into Windows 10 admin account: Just a Windows 10 install disk is required. If you don't have one, you can download the ISO and make a install CD/USB: This method works since Windows Vista.

yeah. I got locked out of an old computer. Just couldn't remember. I paid something like 10 bucks for a program that was an ISO file you burn to CD and it unlocked it. Let me see if I can find it and remember the name. edit: think it was iSee

sometimes you just need to replace the KB ... I've seen failed login because the KB had a bad key

It doesn't show the password - just allows it to be changed or be removed. It accesses the SAM file to do so, but yeah, I highly recommend bitlocker when you can as it stops this from being possible.

Not really. The Windows password was never intended to be secure. Once your computer is in the hands of someone else, it doesn't matter how good your password is. That's why drive and file encryption exists.

It depends on the account type you want to reset password for. If the account you want to bypass is Microsoft, you’d better go to Microsoft to reset the password of the login email account. If it is a administrator account or local account, the best way is to bypass it with password reset disk you created before you forgot the Windows 10 password. You can also try other methods like reset the password with other administrator account and third party software if you do not have the password reset disk.
