The game now supports DX11 and DX12, but there's a caveat - only AMD users should use the DX12 implementation. Players using an NVIDIA graphics card will see an immediate performance hit from going to the more modern renderer. Well it's good to see that Blizzard is still continuing to make improvements.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Really NVIDIA users would see a hit running World of Warcraft? That seems like they need to optimize the game. After 14 years you would think even built in graphics should be smooth for it even with a DX12 update.

WoW has visual content that can play on my 80's calculator. DX12 optimization on WoW is yet another joke in the history of DirectX 12 marketing.
