The 31.5" Q3279VWFD8 will be available from July 2018 with an MSRP of £219 / 249 EUR/USD. The new monitor, Q3279VWFD8 uses a different panel type - IPS - rather than the VA panel used in its older brother and boasts a wider color gamut for increased color accuracy.  The Q3279VWFD8's 31.5" IPS panel offers a highly detailed QHD resolution (2560x1440 pixels), 5 ms GtG response time, AMD FreeSync support and 75 Hz refresh rate. So this monitor is aimed at people who are watching their budget yet still want a 1440p monitor. The 5ms response rate is a bit disappointing but games should run OK on it in my opinion.
