Hey Everyone, I haven't posted here in awhile and thought to run this by you-all. I built a new RGB computer last fall to go with my new 34" ultrawide 1440p LG monitor in my office/gaming area. I then retired my 'Antec-902' which has an EVGA P55 SLI, GTX 780 Ti, i5-750, and Windows 7 64-bit Home. I'd like to add the '902' to my living room home theater setup.
I did try out my new LG monitor with my '902' rig before I switched over to my new RGB rig. I ran a number of stress tests using built-in gaming benchmarks. My favorite was Deus Ex Mankind Divided and I was able to get a fabulous looking game at 1440p/45fps with the '902'. With moving the '902' into a 4K environment, I'm not sure what I could do to improve the '902'.
I want to move the '902' into my living room because I want to PC game on my new TCL Series-6 65" 4K TV from the comfort of my small recliner. I've already gone so far as to purchase the Corsair Gaming Lapboard, Corsair K63 Wireless Keyboard, and the Logitech G602 Wireless Mouse.
I know I'll be able to game at 1080p with the '902' on the 65" TV. The '902' will be connected to my Onkyo AVR using a HDMI 2.2 port. It would be nice to game at 4K with HDR, but I'm not sure how to mod the '902'.
