Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 1070 ti and found out that my current psu runs at 300w max and minimum recommendations says that I should at least be at 500w, so I took advantage of EVGA's promotion on the 500w bronze PSU at $19.99 for the 19th anniversary sale.

The question I have is if the EVGA psu will fit into my hp 500-520qe desktop computer case. it currently has an HP DPS 300AB-73 A 300W PSU.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

it should, its a ATX form factor and pretty one at that, as long as as that HP doesnt have a SFX PSU you should be fine.

Generally, with pre-built machines it is best to measure the length of the power supply currently in the system and compare it to the specification for the new PSU. Height and width are typically the same but some power supplies are longer than others. You'll also want to check inside of the case to see if there are any locking tabs, etc that could interfere with installation of a new PSU.
