Folding Error, please help

Ok, these cards used to work, but then they started failing WU's. Now they wont do anything. I have installed a fresh copy of windows, and newest drivers. Yes I know there are specific drivers that maximize PPD, but I just want them to get ANY PPD.
I downloaded a game and it plays without crashing, not overclocking anything.

    Your workunit is crashing. Are you overclocked? If so, dial it back some. Instant bad work unit messages usually indicated a CPU instability, but heavy GPU oc can cause it as well.

    CPU and Memory passed intel extreme utility stress test. No overclocking

    could be a bad GPU. can you try and underclock the GPU to below factory speeds?

    Try running the GPU at reference clocks. If both the CPU and GPU are running stock clocks you should get good units. Other software like benchmarks aren't indicative of folding or other games stability.

    Which drivers are you using? Have you tried a previous driver? Drivers sometimes break folding ability. Also, Windows feature updates require driver reinstallation to enable cuda for folding.

    Yes I’ve tried all that. DDU too.
    I even tried nicehash and it crashes when opening at the Open CL stage?

    Try the new client and see if it helps. Definitely could be a driver or windows issue. Are you completely current? Not on the fast ring or anything?

    Fixed it. Got GPU Z, Open GL was not checked. So after lots of digging, I downloaded the opengl.dll file and placed it in C:\\windows\system32 and restarted.
    Presto FAH was running.

    Windows does not load the full GPU drive package -- MS Cuts - OpenGL out of their driver updates

    No Idea why MS does this; except MS does not use it & probably considers it a competitor.

    You'll have to keep an eye on this as MS will force new drivers from time to time
     
    Always best to download your driver directly from Nvidia.
