Hi EVGA,

I just recently purchased a 1060 GTX SC to replace a 960 GTX. The noticable issue is the fan runs at 95% when gaming on any AAA MMO with the heat at 82 C. I could barely notice my 960 GTX fan running the same programs. Did I get a dud??? How do I do a return if so? Just installed the card on 7/11/18 purchased last week.

That does seem a bit toasty for that fan speed.  Just to be clear, are you saying that at stock settings, the GPU ramps up to 80C+ and the fan is essentially running full speed to keep it there?
While 'technically' operating within limits, that doesn't sound correct. Personally, I'd discuss this with EVGA first prior to trying to argue with the place of purchase for an replacement or refund. One option might be checking the thermal paste application. I don't know your level of skill.
I've no idea of the options available and how you acquired the GPU on whether simply trying to exchange it from your retailer or a refund to purchase a different model would work for you.

Did you switch over from a dual fan card to a single fan card?
