Will the CLC 280 fit an i8700K CPU on the ASUS PRIME Z370-A, it seems the 300 series spacing is different from earlier the 1151 versions? 
 
I've already purchased one cooler that won't fit, just want to make sure on this one!

    I'm running that exact cooler on my 8700K in my EVGA Z370 FTW. It will fit, no worries.
