Hi guys,
I did a recent partial upgrade of my computer; last build was 8 years ago. I upgraded the motherboard, cpu, ram, and gpu.
Here are the specs as follows:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700x
CPU Cooler: EVGA CLC 240
MB: ASUS ROG Strix B350-F Gaming
RAM: Patriot Viper DDR4 3000 8GB (more coming later)
GPU: EVGA GTX1060 6GB SSC P/N: 06G-P4-6267-KR
PS: Corsair 750 (not upgraded)
Case: Thermaltake Element V (not upgraded)
OS: Windows 10 64bit Education edition (free :) )
HDD: Seagate 7200 rpm 1TB and 500 GB (not upgraded; upgrades coming soon)

My question is that the boost clock during gaming is showing 1936mhz vs the stated 1835mhz. I appreciate the additional boost, but do not want to void my warranty on the card; it's less than 30 days old and I plan on purchasing the extended warranty. I do have Precision XOC installed and used the OSD function to see what it was clocking. I use a custom fan profile to that keeps the card's temps at around 50C while gaming with an occasional high point of 56C; 60C to 63C on GR Wildlands with everything set to the highest settings. Is this higher boost clock normal or is this something that I should investigate further before it voids the warranty. I don't overclock this card as it works perfectly for me on its own. Thanks in advance for the help.

That is completely normal for Boost 3.0. The advertised boost clocks are the minimum boost the GPU should attain under a full load. GPU Boost 3.0 will automatically raise the clocks as long as there is power and thermal headroom.  Your clocks are perfectly normal. Enjoy.

EVGA will not void your warranty for overclocking. They give you the software to do it with.
They sell the hybrid and water blocks for water cooling so you can get even better overclocks.
The software today will limit you to x amount of voltage, and the card will cut itself back if temps get too high.

So As said, enjoy your new card. Maybe even tweak a few more mhz out of it, they won't mind.
