Good morning all,

I have a qeustion, how can it be that when i play balltfield 1 with my two graphic cards GTX950 in SLI it only uses 55% of there power.
Running at ultra setting i will get only 55 FPS max 61 FPS at. If I benchmark with 3dmark 2011 i will get between the 70 and 120 FPS.
See attched picture. When i try to run it with DX12 it will not work frame rate to low.
Please advice.

Regards,
Michael

Perfectly normal. The load is being split between the cards. Try disabling SLI, and one card will then run at 99-100%. Even with SLI, you might need to lower the settings a little.

That hard steady 61 FPS at the end is very suspicious. I don't suppose that you downloaded someones "optimized" BF1 config file which says something like "gametime.maxvariablefps 61" inside of it, have you? Also, if you want greater framerate, make sure vertical sync in BF1 settings is disabled.

It's quite interesting that the above link gives a limit of 61 FPS as an example.
Also, make sure you have no framerate target set in Precision.

Thanks for the tip. Have disabled the Vertical sync in BF1.
Frame rate is now between the 50 and 90 FPS. instead of 50 till 61 FPS.

Can you get both cards in SLI at 100%. Or is that imposible. ??
I want to get the max out of my cards. If i have a frame rate now from 50 till 90!! What will happen if i get both cards to give me 90 - 100 % performance!

That's an SLI optimization issue. You would need to complain to EA/DICE and NVIDIA. Probably, no.

Increasing your resolution, or the resolution scale setting can make the usage % go up.

He's right again. That was why SLI was first developed, to help hardware run resolutions a single card could not handle and still have good frame rates.

So those 50 FPS minimums are even lower. Great idea.
