Hello!

I have just assembled my new PC. Everything works great! Except EVGA Flow Control does not show FAN SPEED.

I have EVGA CLC 280, fans rotate normal and I have plugged everything in place at motherboard.

What can be a problem???

Please have a look at Screenshot. I have 2.0.8 latest software version.

Regards

Hello!

Thanks for reply! Yep I have restarted PC several times, even reinstalled the software, but nothing helps :\ maybe there is some kind of switch in BIOS or something?

Can we have your spec of your motherboard and what make part number? Did you pin cooler fan plug on to CPU pins? That two pins plug from two fans connect to pump and from pump to CPU?

Motheboard Z370 AORUS Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0), Processor: Intel i7 8700K. I have connected 2 fans to EVGA connector and one to CPU (Labeled under "To Motherboard"), I have also connected USB 2.0 to motheboard.

Thank you! it worked, even EVGA support team couldnt figure it out :D Do you recommend me to leave it in PWM mode, will it affect temperature?

do a quick test and click AUTO off  ( lower right ) and move the fan control slider up and down if you will hear the fan change you should be good.

re-click auto back on

I’m having the same issue. Board doesn’t have anything that says PWM specifically. Only Q-fan which is PWM? It’s an older and board M5A97. It used to not show temp where it’s amd. Now it shows temp but not fan speed lol.

I am having a similar issue.   For a while the fan was working.   Now it will not come on at all.

I have been in the bios and made sure that the fans are set to max.  I have ensured that MSI afterburner, which I use for monitoring temps is on default and not controlling fan speeds.

My motherboard is ASUS PRIME X370-PRO.

The fan was working and coming on, but I can't seem to get it started.   I am very frustrated.

I should mention that I have the one fan CPU water cooler.   My display does not show fan speed.

This is my CLC part, 400-HY-CL12-V1

Re: EVGA Flow Control Doesnt show FAN SPEED! 2020/12/24 08:45:12 (permalink)
Dear all EVGA CLC users,

I come to here and reply this post because of I'm one of the EVGA fans. I search around for many many posts and solutions, finally solved my problem by changing all the radiator fans to Noctua NF-A14 PWM:
So, I would say the original EVGA radiator fans QC have to be improved. Don't just asking people to go for the RMA, really feel sad as a EVGA fan. Take the recent products of Asus ROG RYUJIN as example, they use Noctua fans as well. I'm not saying EVGA must use Noctua fan, but the originally EVGA CLC radiator fans really got the problem. I guess EVGA should know about it too.

If you are encountering any problem on the radiator fans, such as not spinning, no FAN SPEED showing on the EVGA flow control software...etc, then stopping searching and testing around, just go to buy and replace the radiator fans, Everything will be fine.

Cheers!
