RMA Taking Too Long

My SC17 laptop was running very hot (45C+ idle) so I RMA'd it. I got an email saying that it had been received on June 8. That email said that it would be shipped within 3-5 business days and that I would receive another email notifying me of when that happened. It's definitely been 5 business days now. I wouldn't normally be so concerned about this, but in a few days I'm leaving to go halfway across the world for a month and I'd really like to have my laptop for that.

Is it common to experience longer wait times than stated by EVGA?

    I’m worried about my RMa too. I leave on the 23rd for vacation and I need my laptop back by the 22nd at the latest. Wednesday would be the 5th business day for me and I paid for two day air shipping to get it by Friday. It’s been several days for me too and I’m hoping it’ll ship by monday or Tuesday for me. I need my laptop back :/

    According to my records it was just received on the 13th which was two business days ago and our shipping department doesn't operate on the weekend so Monday would be the third business day, which normally we would send out your RMA back to you. If it doesn't show that it has been shipped on on Monday evening then give our Customer Service a call at 888-881-3842 to see if there are any updates on when it will be shipped out.

    Just one more question: How long will it take for the laptop to ship to me once it finishes processing?  I planned a few things around this - I'm traveling very far away very soon and I really need my laptop.  It's extremely important that I get it quickly.

    That would be absolutely amazing if you could do that - it is extremely important that this laptop arrive quickly.

    While not ideal also keep in mind things like hold for pick up and services like that if you will be out of town for a delivery. I have had a couple things I have had to have held for a few days while I was traveling.

    Yeah, I had briefly considered that, but I'll be gone for over a month.  I do wonder though if I can get it shipped to where I'll be for a while rather than having it shipped to my house.

    Did you ever get an update about your RMA? I have an RMA that was received on 6/11 and its still pending. It's hard not having a laptop. :(

    Did you ever get an update about your RMA? I have an RMA that was received on 6/11 and its still pending. It's hard not having a laptop. :(





     
    I did get an update!  I called the support number provided (888-881-3842) and spoke to somebody who told me it would ship tonight.  I checked my email, and the laptop has been sent to me and will arrive in time.

    My laptop rma shipped out tonight as well. I’m relieved I don’t have to stress about it now. Thank you EVGA.
