Hey all,
I know this is a shot in the dark and reading around I probably already know the answer-- but I figured I'd prod here for advice anyhow.
I have an EVGA 680i SLI LT motherboard that I recently RMA'ed. At some point I apparently tossed the IO shield and now I no longer have one. My assumption is that the IO shield's purpose is a mix between cosmetic and dust control, so its not really necessary. However, it would still bother me knowing that I dont have it. Trolled around eBay and didn't find anything that would fit well. Any thoughts on a way forward with this? Or should I just suck it up and deal with it? Thanks!

Most likely so, I did see that seller's backplates for sale but $25 is a little steep for a flimsy little piece of metal. If this turns out to be my only option I'll probably just opt out on it-- thanks for the help

Keep in mind that for very old motherboards parts may not be available.
