Repair options for EVGA GTX 970 past warranty

Hi, my gpu died for the second time. I've gone through the rma process once before with this card but now my warranty is no longer active. Is there a guide to self repair? I'm a college student and can't afford to replace it yet.

    You could try the oven trick... http://www.overclockers.com/the-oven-trick-repairing-your-broken-video-card-with-an-oven/
     
    Note: Bake the card with the gpu die upwards instead of downwards as shown in the article.

    I have two of these that are not working as they should.  One is an SC, one is an FTW.   I would also like to know what my options would be for repairs please.
