980 ti RMA, EVGA received the card yesterday i have a question

So EVGA received the card yesterday and it seems like they are sending me a new one today.I received a UPS tracking number but that is it.Am i suppose to receive the new 
Serial Number before i get the card? and if it was possible to check if there was no problems with the RMA,this is the second 980ti that i have had to RMA
