I'm hyped. The 2016 game was great, except for the paid DLC. Hopefully modding is supported and the game is focus entirely around single/coop.

Looking forward to this. The 2016 remake gave the fast action fans look for from DOOM. I feel not enough games today look at what made the original a classic and instead try to work with modern games and often it doesn’t work. DOOM on the other hand is about quick gaming.

I betcha all the rumors are wrong and Nvidia will announce the next-gen GPU there. They love being unpredictable and Gamescon is too predictable. And I've been trying to guess the release date for months now. I've been caught between RTX and Quakecon (because August has just made sense), and Quakecon sounds more likely. They only announce at gaming events, so it's perfect! After showing off Doom Eternal in fluid 4k gameplay, watch Jensen Huang come out and say that it was running on the new next-gen card and that it's coming out August 27th.
