Did you guys try to undervolt the 1070 to let her run cooler? Would be nice to post our voltage curve to confront the results. I'm trying some tweaks on the msi afterburber panel, much clearer than the precision x integrated.

Unfortunately I dont think we can change GPU in mobile GPUs unless I am wrong :/

In MSI Afterburner you can undervolt your gpu. Here is picture  https://ibb.co/jstdtJ   Open MSI Afterburner, press ctrl +f, in curve profile,  start from dot at 0.875v Slide up to the 1923mhz, next dots on the left side move down to create smooth curve. Don't touch dots on the right side.  Back to 0.875v at 1923mhz , mark it and press apply. It will create smooth drop on left side and straight line on the right side. GPU clock will be around 1911mhz. Enjoy your low temp. If it not stable, play with 0.875v at lower clock, or give more voltage for 1911mhz  (0.881v)

Personally I believe undervolting hides the true problem seen by the OP which is a temperature issue. Before attempting an undervolt what are the GPU temps and what troubleshooting has been attempted to try and lower the temps?

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

maybe this could be useful in saving power and extending battery life.

I always had temp issues with this laptop. I tried liquid metal too and everything was running decently since ine week ago. Now my gpu reaches 85 degrees in less than 15 minutes of heavy games. Is almost impossible to keep playing and not being scared that everything is going to blow up! ( CPU is around 85/90 too). ( I have Oc in both gpu and CPU, but also without it I will experience the same issue in thirty minutes of playing instead of 20.)

My gpu is usualy 80-82 under load with 4200 RPM fan but the CPU is 80 when OCed to 4.2Ghz but at 3.6 GHZ its 70 at best
