prices are so low now a 10 gigabit line from new york to london is now < $5000 a month
 
prices for 100 gigabit are also coming down albeit a bit more slowly

    This is good as it means we probably will see providers starting to. Pay more for faster speeds. It should thus help ease up network congestion that can slow it down.

    Internet fiber over the oceans has been congested which motivated putting a lot more in place. Now services are lower in cost so internet services world-wide should be better than ever.
