A 27-inch monitor with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), a staggering 144 Hz refresh-rate, and support for NVIDIA G-Sync HDR. The monitor features (and requires) DisplayPort 1.4 to sustain 4K @ 144 Hz with 10-bpc color. Pricing wasn't announced but I'll take a wild guess and say about 2000 dollars

I agree on the guess of the price I just wish it was bigger like 34”.

Even a 32 inch model would be great. That will probably be here within a year's time.

You see how they backed on 27", that's plan to sell first HDR 27" until end of 2018 they will force 32-34.
Nicely estimate market for biggest profit, higher than presentation different sizes and different prices at once.
Much easier to overprice and much easier to sell two similar models to same customers.

I don't have + 500$ for monitor more than normal 4K UHD with HDR and + 1000$ more than high end GPU for supporting 120fps in 80-90% of games and lock on 60fps in rest of them. Better to say two GPUs instead one.

ASUS in one moment had good monitors, now they are not competitive with price.
I think with LG you get more for same price in range 500-800$.

I am reading else where that price for Asus model as well should be $2K. HDR/Quantum Dot 144Hz for an added $1200 vs the PG27AQ. It is a lot but I am deciding if I want to target that one monitor or do a high refresh 1440p, IPS 3 screen setup

As long as your popular enough, you can get away with anything.

I hope they've made some major QC improvements - if the BLB and IPS glow on these panels is anywhere even near as bad as many of their recent models, this thing won't be worth it at half the price (assuming a $2k price tag) ..and even half price would be too much.

This looks really nice. Currently running dual 27" 4K displays overclocked to 70Hz, something like this is exactly what I want. But I'm patient enough to wait for a $700-800 price point, $1500+ is too much for one of these.
