980ti SC+
some weeks ago, after almost 3years i found myself with rising temperatures, unstable gaming performance and mid game hard resets of the computer, eventually ending in a bootlooping cycle unable to post unless the vidya card was taken out of the system and iGPU was used instead.
after finding i still had a few months left on my warranty i contacted EVGA support who were immediately very helpful and caring in response.
i was supplied an RMA number and the process began.
after sending my card off in the express mail EVGA received it and processed it within a few working days as promised.
they then sent it back to me on DHL express which took little more than 2 days or something to arrive at my door.
putting the card back into my machine eagerly, windows booted up fine. :D
with personal fan curve and current 20deg C desk ambient temp the card doesn't exceed 65deg full load, with sparadic fan, not pinned fan. GTAV, rocket league etc. 60-65deg C beautiful. much better temps than my old card it replaced.
i very much appreciate that after nearly 3years evga handled this so well and fixed everything for me better than it ever was.
this means i can continue to enjoy games while i wait for the next generation top level ti card, and that card will certainly be from EVGA.
