Ran into a snag, the clc 280 uses a usb 2.0 header for flow control...However the Z370 only has one usb 2.0 header....
The dg77 uses the usb2.0 header for its own control and K Boost....There are two USB 2.0 headers on the DG77 RGB panel, one labelled "USB2 IN" and "USB2 Out".  The "USB2 IN" is by default connected and the cable goes to the motherboard. the "USB2 out" has nothing connected.

I Called EVGA support and talked to a Jonathan, I believe, 20 mins ago and he says i have 3 options:

1. get a usb 2.0 card with an internal connector (BLAH and UGLY)
2. use a old cell phone charger that uses the same connector as the CLC and run it out the case to the back usb port (Mickey mouse looking)
3. That i should be able to plug the clc into the "USB Out" on the dg77 RGB panel and it should work

I want to do #3 as he said it would be fine and not short anything, but I would rather get some input first...HELP!!!!

As Jonathan from EVGA support stated, you should be fine with connecting the cases' RGB controller to the USB 2.0 port on the mother board and connect your clc USB to the "out" USB port on the RGB controller of the case as that is a pass-through USB port.

You could also get an internal USB hub like the one NZXT offers which would connect to your one USB 2.0 port on the mother board and give you 3 more internal type USB 2.0 ports and 2 traditional (external) type USB 2.0 ports (http://www.nzxt.com/product-overview/internal-usb-hub). Better than an ugly USB card as it is a small module with magnets on the bottom of it and can be tucked away on the back side of the case out of sight .

This is what I did as my particular mother board only has two internal USB ports but I have two NZXT Hue+'s and two NZXT Grid+ v2's in my system requiring a total of 4 USB 2.0 ports and this works just fine.

A few of us with a Z270 used the NZXT  but for the Z370 I just let the CLC have the header all to itself.

Now that I have three computers in the room using EVGA CLC I did think about just running the USB CLC control cables into a different computer  ;-)
