It makes zero sense to me why NVIDIA would release a video card with less bandwidth than their 2GB GTX 1050, but they have. It looks like this card will be released in the Asian market so it is unknown if NVIDIA will release the same card in the West. It absolutely makes no sense to me at all.

More powerfull GPU than the 1050Ti (better clocks, same number of cuda cores) and lesser memory bandwidth  WHY! WHY! ! !

Lol! Stock clocks dont mean a thing. They havent for a long time now. GPU Boost 3.0 pushes the clocks far beyond advertised and the memory bandwidth will have an impact on overall performance.

The fact that bumped the cores up to match the ti was stupid of them, but whatever, there is less memory and bandwidth, so the performance will be down slightly.

Exactly how they got the card to exactly where they want it.  Not sure it is really worth it.  The TI seems to still be the best choice

What really makes no sense is to call both cards 1050 when the chip hasn't got the same number of cores. That is misleading and most people new to computer hardware will think the only difference is the memory (2 vs 3 GB).
