Warframe will be moving to a new version of PhysX, an enhanced framework which also drops support for PhysX particles. The developers of Warframe want to take advantage of the updated codebase to offer increased stability and performance, while also creating a unique particle system which will work on all graphics hardware on both PCs and consoles.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Really I am surprised NVIDIA didn’t license out PhysX. It would have made them money and created the industry standard consoles would have used.

What FUD is this? PhysX totally supports consoles, OSX, Linux, iOS, Android, etc. CPU support as well. https://developer.nvidia.com/physx-sdk

Warframe was using an old old ass version of the SDK

I can't help but find it interesting (in a good way) how DE seems to be building a lot of proprietary stuff, rather than convert to something new when what they're currently using isn't supported any more. Hopefully it works out for them.
