Very interesting to see Battle.net providing this game. Wonder if World of Warcraft players will farm gold for tokens to buy this game like they could with Destiny 2.

The most interesting thing I heard in the release vid was, "all new, usable, land air and sea vehicles". Oh and larger maps too. If true I may be picking this one up. It's been 5 years since I bought a COD game and played zombies with IBJ. I could careless if Steam or Battlenet except I have no friends on the latter. My grandson likes D2 & OW so at least it's installed but I don't let him on the com or chat.

That's said every year and it's never true. Don't fall for it. Call of Duty will always be Call of Duty.

LOL So true... I won't be preordering that's for sure. They will have to earn it this time around.

The last call of duty I bought was Black Ops. Pretty sweet game, but the players on the PC destroyed the game with some of the worst garbage script servers of all time and the majority of them being super scrub 24/7 nuketown spam. The whole franchise turned into garbage when Modern Warfare with it's focus on running around in circle to get press-x-to-win perks changed the entire game design of the franchise. On the PC at least the franchise has been dead for years now. The concurrent player numbers for the newest ones are so abysmal I'm surprised they even bother any longer. Battlefield is becoming the same with EA removing long available PC features for the franchise and every year the maps getting progressively worse.

I wish there were good competitive FPS games still but that simply isn't the case. The whole genre has been effectively ruined by trying to cater to the lowest gamer that wants immediate success and in-game advantages over others whether it's random like in battle royal games or if they pay for it via DLC. It's sad when a franchise like Camper Strike which hasn't changed in nearly 2 decades is the top "sport" competitive shooter because anyone with a rock and an LCD screen can run it while gambling away their allowance for skins and digital stickers.
