Just wondering if anyone got this and if its any good. I have not gotten a game in almost three years. Not about to throw my money at devs for well junk and its been junk or politically charged crap for some time now.

I tried playing the 1st game this weekend. Didn't care for it. Uses Unity Engine too. It's one of those games that insists the player knows mechanics and the intricacies of what the stats do instead of, you know, actually telling the player in any useful way. Expect to read a bunch of out of game stuff to understand the game before you play it otherwise you're going to be confused regarding what is going on. Some people call this depth, but in reality its just antiquated game design.

Wasteland 2 was like that for me. I ended up just going in head first after a 40 minute youtube video and had a decent experience but definitely could've been better if educated throughout.

I tried to get into the first one, but how old it felt vs knowing what the engine could do, felt a bit disappointed. Its why I have not gotten any new games for some time now. Going on I think three years now. If I give a company my money I really want to get every cent out of it for entertainment. Want to be entertained like an amazing book.

It's Unity Engine, so not really a good engine at all, but I agree. The amount of non tech and resources going into games is noticed when they want to charge for $40+ for it. At least with the second game it's fully voiced so you aren't reading a novel.

Tried playing for about 10min, didn't understand some of the mechanics, didn't want to spend my free time learning how to play it, and it's collecting dust.
